Kirk Allen SVP, Home Care, a division of Humana that focuses on helping people live safely at home, even when faced with medical, behavioral and functional challenges. Under his leadership, Humana is transforming the way care is delivered to chronically ill individuals and providing innovative, holistic care management, home health and home care services to vulnerable adults. He is regarded as a leader in healthcare administration excelling at healthcare management, strategic planning, public speaking and program development. Kirk’s effective strategic planning and corporate business development contributed to the growth and success of Ascension at Home. Prior to Humana, Kirk was President of Ascension at Home and the Executive Vice President of Home Care Services for Evolution Health. He also spent 10 years at St. Vincent’s Health System and served in roles including President and Chief Operation Officer of the Ambulatory Healthcare Network. Kirk is an accomplished thought-leader in the home healthcare space. His more than 20 years in healthcare began as a physical therapist before transitioning to healthcare operations management and home healthcare systems. His experience yields vast knowledge and a unique outlook on home healthcare management. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of South Alabama. He went on to earn a Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
