Tammy Sun is the Founder and CEO of Carrot Fertility, the leading global fertility care platform for women, plus people of every age, race, income, sex, sexual orientation, gender, marital status, and geography. Hundreds of the world’s top multinational companies, health plans, and health systems trust Carrot to deliver exceptional experiences and superior clinical outcomes to millions of members around the world. Prior to Carrot, Tammy was a presidential appointee in President Obama’s administration at the Federal Communications Commission and held various roles at The White House, national and local campaigns, as well as forward-thinking public policy think tanks. Tammy also managed growth partnerships at Evernote. She graduated from NYU and attended the London School of Economics.
Tammy has been nationally recognized as a pioneering healthcare and business leader. She was most recently honored as a 2023 Woman Award for Corporate Leadership recipient presented by Engage and named one of Entrepreneur Magazine’s 100 Women of Influence in 2022. She has been featured in national and international media on issues related to the future of work and universal access to fertility healthcare, including Harvard Business Review, Forbes, National Public Radio, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, BBC, The Economist, and more. Tammy is a frequent speaker at key healthcare conferences, including Oliver Wyman, HLTH, Fortune’s Most Powerful Women Next Gen, the American Society for Reproductive Medicine, and the British Fertility Society. Under Tammy’s leadership, Carrot has established its position as the largest and most comprehensive global platform for fertility care and has received numerous awards, including Best Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Product from the Anthem Awards, Fast Company’s Most Innovative Companies, and Fortune’s Best Workplaces in Healthcare. The company is fully distributed, with teams in more than 40 states across the United States and dozens of countries around the world. Tammy lives in Bentonville, AR, with her partner and their beloved dog.
