Sherrie Barch believes that legacy is built not by what we achieve but through those we inspire to achieve.
Sherrie is the CEO and co-founder of Furst Group, a national healthcare executive search firm, and NuBrick Partners, a leadership development and consulting company. She is also the CEO of a national retained executive search firm she helped acquire, Salveson Stetson Group. Her companies serve healthcare organizations and Fortune 500 clients and consistently appear at the top of executive search firm lists by Modern Healthcare and Forbes.
Sherrie’s vision of progressing talent and creating opportunities, especially for diverse and women executives, has spanned 35 years. As a solutions leader in the talent management space, Sherrie has helped boards and CEOs recruit, develop, and retain their leadership teams. Her expertise in executive search and leadership consulting has made her an in-demand partner for organizations across the world.
Her forward-thinking approach landed her a spot in leadership guru Seth Godin’s eighth “altMBA” program. The intensive and exclusive program attracts executives from the likes of Google, Nike, Microsoft, and Coca-Cola.
A seasoned speaker and author on leadership and diversity, Sherrie also wrote the bestselling Heaven’s Bell book series on grief. She is currently finishing her third title, a business fable for new college graduates about the future of work (and what they don’t teach you in school).
Sherrie holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in business communication. She serves on the board of a privately held global search firm and is a member of CHIEF, a membership network for senior executive women.
