Scott Theisen is CEO of Optum Care Services and is responsible for leading Optum’s community-based care programs including in-home clinical assessments, and longitudinal and transitional care programs for members in home, assisted living and skilled nursing settings. Through a team of 3,800+ employed Advanced Practice Clinicians across 47 states, Optum Care Services is focused on delivering patient-centric care in community settings with improved patient outcomes, increased quality, lower costs and high patient satisfaction. Scott has held various leadership roles across UnitedHealth Group over 23 years, including Chief Financial Officer of UnitedHealthcare’s Medicare & Retirement business.
