Hemant is also a best selling author and advocate for Responsible Innovation. His 2022 book Intended Consequences: How to Build Market-Leading Companies with Responsible Innovation lays out an actionable framework for founders and executives on how to create innovative and enduring companies built–from the outset–to generate both significant financial and societal returns.

Hemant is known for his early work on climate change and his vision for transforming the US healthcare system.
