Carney Taylor, MD
Co-President, Eastern Nephrology Associates of North Carolina
Dr Carney Taylor has been a practicing nephrologist with Eastern Nephrology Associates (ENA), located in eastern North Carolina, for 24 years. ENA employs 36 physicians and 27 advanced practice practitioners to provide value-based kidney care to patients residing in approximately 20,000 square miles of rural eastern North Carolina. ENA’s exposure to value-based care started in the 3rd year of the ESCO and now includes CMI’s CKCC model as well as commercial value-based care contracts in partnership with Interwell Health. Dr Taylor serves as the Co-President of ENA and has been instrumental in leading the organization through its transformation from fee for service to value-based care. Additionally, he serves on the Board of Interwell Health.
