August Calhoun, PhD, is Senior Vice President of North America Services at Siemens Healthineers, responsible for Customer Services, Enterprise Services and Digital Services in the United States. Before joining Siemens Healthineers in 2016, August was Senior Vice President and General Manager of Provider Solutions at Truven Health Analytics, where he oversaw global sales, marketing, services, consulting, operations and product management. Prior to Truven, August spent six years with Dell, Inc., most recently as Vice President and General Manager of the company’s Healthcare and Life Sciences Industry. He has held leadership positions in IBM Global Services, Business Consulting Services, and sales, eventually serving as Executive Director of IBM’s Pharmaceutical Industry. August holds a doctorate in Physical Chemistry from University of Pennsylvania and a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from University of Delaware.
