The Quest for Commercial Risk: Discoveries on How to Unlock Win-Win Arrangements – 2nd Floor, Griffin Ballrooms D & E
Pressure is mounting to confront rising costs and stagnant outcomes in the commercial market. Industry pioneers have been advocating for the widespread adoption of two-sided risk payment arrangements as a solution to these unsustainable trends. But fragmentation and information siloes prevent leaders outside of existing arrangements from obtaining a clear view of what success looks like for commercial risk-based contacting models. How can leaders make these risk arrangements more predictable and less opaque? What are practical blueprints for success and what essential lessons can we learn from existing models to accelerate progress? And critically, how can payers and providers work together to create win-win commercial risk arrangements that are effective and sustainable?

From Pledge to Action: Lessons from Leading Health Equity Champions – 2nd Floor, Griffin Ballrooms D & E
Despite increased awareness of health care’s deep-rooted disparities in recent years, substantial work remains to establish and sustain a data-driven approach to advancing health equity. In response, Health Evolution launched the Health Equity Pledge in 2022 as a bold cross-industry initiative to meaningfully strengthen data foundations and better identify disparities, diagnose root causes, and instill accountability for eliminating them. Nearly three years into this journey, leaders at the forefront of the Pledge will reflect on their public commitment and diligent work to deliver against it. What lessons have these pioneers learned? What unexpected challenges did they encounter along the way? And how would they guide others who are earlier in their efforts?
